New Year New You Wine Sisterhood Step Challenge

Track and share your progress with us
Join our Wine Sisterhood 1 Million Step Challenge.  We’ve made it easy for you by creating a daily step journal – use this form to input your daily steps. Our goal is to reach 1 million Wine Sister Steps by the end of January!

Tracking daily steps is an easy way to monitor your activity, and there are a ton of ways to do it. Below are some of the low and high-tech tools we at the Wine Sisterhood love to use to track our daily activity.

Basic pedometers
These usually come in the form of a small clip that you attach to your clothing each day. Many athletic stores carry a variety and you can also browse a larger selection of pedometers online.

Pedometer smartphone apps
iPhone and Android support downloadable apps that track the steps you take each day. Do a quick search for pedometer apps and you’ll get a long list of results on both platforms. Popular Android pedometer apps include Moves, Runtastic, Accupedo, Noom Walk and many more.  Popular iPhone pedometer apps include Runtastic, Pacer, Footsteps, Nike+ Move and a search in iTunes will return many other options.

Wearable tech
Fitness has gone high tech with new wearable devices that track your daily activity. Some are worn on your wrist like a bracelet, others clip on your clothing. A few of our Wine Sisters wear the Nike Fuelband and love how it helps you stick to your fitness goals and connect with friends who also wear it. Our Digital Diva Aliza Sherman loves her Jawbone Up, not only for how it tracks activity, but how it also tracks her sleep patterns. Other wearable devices include the FitBit, Withings Pulse, Basis Band and more.

Ready Wine Sisters? Let’s get moving!
