Restaurant Reviews

Soleil Ho (@hooleil) is a food, culture and travel writer who has been a San Francisco Chronicle restaurant critic since 2019 and is currently the host of the paper’s food podcast, Extra Spicy. You may have previously heard her work as host of the award-nominated podcast Racist Sandwich. She is also the co-writer of MEAL, a graphic novel on culinary mentorship, queer romance, and eating insects. Her work has also appeared in the anthologies, Women on Food and The Best American Food Writing 2019.

Elise Carpenter, is a freelance wine writer, host and educator who you can find posting about her adventures regularly on Instagram as @lady_dionysus. With a WSET Level 3 Award in Wines, you can trust that her wine recommendations are backed by thorough research.

Dani (@globetrottergirls), a self-proclaimed “travel addict” started Globetrottergirls.com in 2010 with a one-year trip turned open-ended world voyage. Her mission is “to inspire curiosity about the world and provide the tips and tools to help you see as much of the world as you can for yourself.” She’s sharing practical advice, honest mistakes and personal stories regularly on her site and Instagram


Design Inspiration

Shavonda Gardner (@sgardnerstyle) is author of the design and lifestyle blog, SG Style, focused on big bold style for small spaces. On her blog and Instagram account, you’ll find updates about her downsizing journey and cottage bungalow renovation. She shares fantastic interior design ideas, travel adventures and personal style insights.


Inclusive Fitness 

Kathryn Budig (@kathrynbudig) is a yoga teacher and author who brings a sparkly flair to her practice, as evidenced in her Instagram feed. She was a yoga editor at Women’s Health magazine, co-host of the podcast, Free Cookies, teaches regular online classes on Yogaglo.com, and is the founder of her animal project, Poses for Paws. She’s also the author of The Women’s Health Big Book of Yoga and Aim True.
