Harmonies of Wine and Music at B.R. Cohn

Nestled between Sonoma Mountain and the Mayacamas Mountain range in Sonoma Valley, B.R. Cohn Winery was founded by Bruce Cohn, long time manager of rock-n-roll legends, The Doobie Brothers.  Notable amongst their vineyards is the Olive Hill Estate, named for the nearly five-hundred 160-year old olive trees on the estate. B.R. Cohn offers an inviting and relaxed environment to discover its selection of small lot, vineyard designated wines.

Where to eat: Down the road from BR Cohn you will find El Molino Central. Fans of regional Mexican cuisine will be enchanted by this charming and relaxed eatery. It serves up robust and flavorful dishes using only the finest ingredients. Karen Taylor Waikiki is the woman behind the whole operation. She opened El Molino Central in June 2010 after having run a Mexican prepared foods company and stand at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, Primavera, since 1991.

WINE PAIRING: Try the 2021 B.R. COHN CABERNET SAUVIGNON, SILVER LABEL, NORTH COAST. This wine is a testament to the meticulous winemaking process, from fermentation in stainless steel tanks to aging in French oak barrels. It showcases a harmonious blend of fruit, spice, and earthy elements, with a refined and integrated tannin structure. With each sip, this wine invites you to savor its complexity and enjoy its evolving flavors.

A Fusion of Artistry and Terroir at Clos Pegase

Internationally-acclaimed architecture and a commitment to estate-grown Napa Valley wines make Clos Pegase one of the most distinctive wineries in the world. Clos Pegase wines are pure expressions of Napa Valley terroir. Experience firsthand how the unique combination of estate wine and renowned architecture can make your visit to the wine country truly memorable.

Where to eat: Clos Pegase has partnered with Tre Posti to offer local and seasonally inspired food options that pair beautifully with our wines. Each picnic box serves two adults and requires 48 hours advance reservation. Spend your afternoon with a delicious picnic lunch while taking in the mountain and vineyard views that surround the estate.

WINE PAIRING: Treat yourself to a 2022 CLOS PEGASE ROSE. THIS Rosé is a luscious strawberry red color in the glass with uplifting floral aromas of red crushed fruit, watermelon, and juicy white peach. On the palate, the bright acidity compliments the delicate tannins giving a balanced and complex mouth feel, with a long persistence of mouthwatering stone fruit. The crispness helps provide freshness to the wine and a medium creamy finish.
