Proud to Support Tough Enough To Wear Pink!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we’re here to remind all of our Wine Sisters how important it is to keep your health at the top of your list.

If you’re within the recommended cancer screening guidelines and haven’t had a mammogram this year, we urge you to schedule one and remind your friends and family to do the same. Also make sure you’re putting a breast self exam on your calendar at least once a month as 40% of diagnosed breast cancers are detected by women who feel a lump, according to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Like many of you, our family has been directly affected by breast cancer. Wine Sisterhood founder, Terry Wheatley, is a breast cancer survivor and co-founder of Tough Enough To Wear Pink, the Western community’s grassroots campaign to battle breast cancer.

The Purple Cowboy wines she also created have long given back to the campaign. Today, 100% of Purple Cowboy’s profits are donated to Tough Enough To Wear Pink.

This year, Tough Enough To Wear Pink is celebrating its 16th anniversary. $35 million has been raised at rodeos and western events to support families facing breast cancer, early detection and research. The organization has a goal to raise $50 million by their 20th anniversary in 2024.

Show your support for the cause and dress in pink for Tough Enough To Wear Pink Day – October 21st!

Along with its very own holiday this week, we also encourage you to support Tough Enough To Wear Pink by browsing the TETWP Store for some new pink gear and follow Tough Enough To Wear Pink on Facebook for the latest updates.

And in case you didn’t catch it earlier in this post, 100% of Purple Cowboy’s profits are donated to Tough Enough To Wear Pink. Every single sip supports a good cause. Shop for Purple Cowboy wines at a store near you or shop online.

Our wine shop is now stocked with new exclusive Purple Cowboy wines that you can only order online or buy in the Paso Robles, CA, tasting room.
