Insider Scoop: Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary Launching New Wine Brand on QVC this Weekend
Our friend and fellow wine lover, Kevin O’Leary (aka. Mr. Wonderful from “Shark Tank”), has jumped into the wine business with his own brand: O’Leary Fine Wines. Along with his wife, Linda, O’Leary is launching a new collection of amazing, affordable wines this weekend – and we’ve got the scoop!
“My wife Linda has a remarkable palate for wine. I am always amazed how she can distinguish one region from another, new world wines from old just from the look, nose and taste. I hide the bottles and she beats me every time. A marriage based on a good wine cellar can last forever!
I took Linda with me to California and we began working with the Vintage Wine Estate winemakers. I made the decision early on that any wine I put my name on has to be spectacular, so we worked really hard on achieving that goal,” said O’Leary.
O’Leary Fine Wines launches this Sunday, April 26 on QVC at 12 p.m. ET (double check your local listings).

The O’Leary Fine Wines collection currently includes three wines:
2013 Kevin O’Leary Cabernet Sauvignon, California
Aromatics of cassis, ripe cherry, and blackberry jam are indicative of the rich flavors throughout. Toasted oak combines with velvety tannins for a soft, smooth finish.
2013 Kevin O’Leary Reserve Series Red Wine, California
Ripe, jammy flavors of raspberry and blackberry fruit are accented by delicate notes of vanilla and crème brûlée. Richly developed tannins round out the body with a hint of chocolate on the finish.
2014 Kevin O’Leary Chardonnay, California
Vibrant and fruity; bright green apple and juicy pear dominate the palate with a subtle hint of vanilla oak on the finish.

May . 2016Very smooth, no harsh or bitter taste, hands down the best wine I have had in a long time, I am a white wine drinker not a red and I have tried many brands and that’s why I have to comment, it changed my taste buds, thank you Kevin O’Leary for making such a great wine, I will order more.

Buying wine without tasting first is always a risky proposition. Especially when the wine is brand new and has never been offered anywhere before. However, this is brilliant marketing by O’Leary using his name to sell. Let’s see how much repeat business he gets. If the wine tastes good, it will sell just fine.

I purchased the 2014 Moscato wine and I loved it as well as friends that we served it to. We are hoping we can find a way to get more. I bought it from QVC just a few weeks ago. It is also a great price.

I don’t drink wine (but I have tried red/white wine over the years never enjoyed it) but I listen to the presentation on QVC and I decided to try the Moscato wine. OMG…………..smooth, clean, refreshing no after taste. I LOVE IT. Of course now I am sorry I didn’t go on auto delivery. Do you think Kevin will bring it back to QVC?

I purchased three bottles of Pinot Noir last week and opened one yesterday. I was very surprised to find that it was terrible. I got these from QVC and will contact them about a return and full refund.
This didn’t taste like any Pinot Noir I’ve ever had, good and not so good.
