Wine Sister Celebrations: Harvest Party Table Setting

Harvest Table Setting - Wine Sisterhood Celebrations

Harvest is one of the most wonderful times of year in wine country. The growing season has come to its anticipated and happy end. All of those lovely harvested grapes have started their journey to becoming a fantastic bottle of wine.

Each year we like to celebrate harvest by throwing a little Wine Sisterhood party in the Napa Valley with friends and family. Here are some photos showing how we decked out our table for the occasion this year! (We thought this would also double as a beautiful Thanksgiving table as well!)

Natural accents are a perfect fit this time of year, including pumpkins and gourds from your local pumpkin patch.

Find ways to include natural accents in your place settings too! Here we used an olive branch in each napkin and cute placemats made of twigs.

Purple Cowboy Wines, Harvest Table Setting - Wine Sisterhood Celebrations

Of course, we included some of our favorite wines to serve this time of year. Pictured here, Purple Cowboy Trail Boss Cabernet Sauvignon. Try it with grilled red meat and stews.

Along with Middle Sister Goodie Two-Shoes Pinot Noir. Pair her with Thanksgiving turkey, grilled chicken or salmon. Yum!

And Wine Sisterhood Courageous Cabernet Sauvignona beautiful bottle for a beautiful table! It’s another wine that pairs wonderfully with grilled meat.

And, don’t forget a bottle of Wassum Ranch Olive Oil to pass around the table!

Watch a video from one of our past harvest parties, and pick up some of our favorite harvest recipes to make this season.

Want to know more about how the grape travels from vine to bottle? Last year our good friend Bettina Sichel walked us through the process at Laurel Glen Vineyard in Sonoma. Watch the video and enjoy!

Cheers to a happy harvest season!
