It’s time for a party! This Halloween, we’re going all out. We’re bringing out our best and spookiest décor, setting the table with some of our favorite wines and preparing a classic Posole to warm everyone up.

Serving Posole on Halloween is a Napa Valley tradition. This hearty, tummy-warming Mexican stew brings together chicken, pork and hominy, in a base of savory red chili sauce. Posole is perfect with a glass of wine (pairings below!) and a handful of Halloween candy for dessert!

Fun props like witch hats, spiders and spider webs can help create a spooky and lighthearted feel. 

A simple black lace tablecloth makes a beautiful base. 

A little bit of glitter and sparkle can do wonders!

Set the table with etched glasses for a very “Hocus Pocus” touch. 

This Halloween party wouldn’t be complete without a bottle of Girl & Dragon Malbec. Gorgeous and delicious! Girl & Dragon also pairs well with a hearty dish like Posole. 

Or try pairing PromisQous Red with a bowl of Posole, the wine will complement the chile flavors well.
