It’s on a Saturday and Jamie Fraser’s character will be lookin’ good (trust us, we’ve seen the preview), do we really need more reasons to get together to watch? We think not. Ladies, get ready to party like it’s 1743.

Here are our tips for pulling off the most “Sassenach” party on the block:

Pull out the plaid

And anything earthy – we’re thinking burlap, leather, wood. Set the scene for your party and make it feel like your table just landed in 18th-century Scotland.

Discover a new recipe

Scotch eggs, steak pies, and a batch of neeps and tatties – find a classic Scottish dish to serve to your Outlander and food-loving friends on our Viewing Party Pinterest Board.

Serve a fitting wine

Girl & Dragon Malbec – fierce and fearless.

Wine Sisterhood Courageous Cabernet – beautiful, elegant, classic.  

Middle Sister Blushing Beauty Rosé –  for all of those swoon-worthy shirtless Jamie moments.

Make the perfect cocktail

Toast to Claire’s superior nursing skills with the Penicillin. Or lighten things up with a Lagohaire Whisky Sour, from the Outlander Kitchen. (We recommend Whiskey Sister for this recipe, she’s from the States, but she’ll do the trick!)

Invite a lad named Jamie

Cheers to you if you can get him to show up in person! If he turns out to be busy, here’s our idea: print out a Pocket Jamie, cut him out and bring him with you when you’re shopping for wine, planning menus, cooking, hanging out on the couch… Share your photos with us on our Facebook Page or on Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest with both the #winesister and #Outlander hashtags.
