Happy Halloween from the Wine Sisterhood!

Happy Halloween from the Wine Sisterhood

“Double, double toil and trouble…” it’s just about time to break into that batch of Witches Brew and toast to Halloween!

While we’d love to go out and trick-or-treat for glasses of wine, our gut is telling us it’s probably best to create a fabulous night full of delicious treats (and maybe a few tricks!) of our own.

But first, we hope everything on your Halloween checklist is crossed off. Time to turn on that doorbell silencer and turn up our Halloween playlist!

And share the image above on Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter – let’s spread the Halloween fun!

Festive Cocktails & Food

Before the trick-or-treaters come knocking, we recommend whipping up a batch of Kill Devil Punch or your cocktail of choice. Below is the recipe from Death & Co., as featured in Food & Wine. Swap out the Champagne for some Glamour Girl Pink or White Bubbly and you’ve got yourself a real treat. Cheers!

Kill Devil Punch

9 ounces amber rum
6 ounces pineapple juice
5 ounces Simple Syrup
4 ounces fresh lime juice
Raspberry Ice
5 ounces chilled Champagne
12 raspberries
12 lime wheels

1. In a pitcher, combine the rum, pineapple juice, Simple Syrup and lime juice and refrigerate until chilled, at least 1 hour.

2. Stir the punch and strain it into a punch bowl. Add the Raspberry Ice. Pour in the chilled Champagne and stir once. Garnish the punch with the raspberries and lime wheels. Serve in small rocks glasses or tea cups.

As the raspberry ice melts, it releases creepy “blood” (juice) into the punch. Yum!

Pumpkin Pizza with Crispy Sage

And what’s a holiday without some carbs? Round out Pizza Month with a festive and yummy Pumpkin Pizza! We found this recipe for Pumpkin Pizza with Crispy Sage from Two Peas and Their Pod that will definitely hit the spot.

Happy Halloween!
