Harvest 2013 at Laurel Glen Vineyards

Hey Wine Sisters…ever wondered how the grapes make it into the bottle and to your dinner table? Wine Sister Bettina Sichel, proprietor of Laurel Glen Vineyard in Sonoma and winemaker Randall Watkins take us through the process from picking to pressing. Bettina is the fifth generation of the Sichel family (her father brought Blue Nun to America and introduced a generation to the pleasures of wine and food at the table). Bettina has revitalized a historic gem of a vineyard high in the hills above the tiny town of Glen Ellen overlooking the Sonoma Valley. Her stewardship of the land and hands-on attention to every aspect of the winegrowing process is truly inspirational.

We invite you to relax, grab a glass of wine and enjoy the moment as we did. To taste Laurel Glen wines for yourself, check out their wine shop, or better yet, the wine clubs for a taste of this iconic estate throughout the year.

Cheers!
