Setting the Table: Thanksgiving Style

Wine Sisterhood Thanksgiving Table

For the Wine Sisterhood, putting together a stylish table setting for our big holiday meal is a must. When you’ve spent so much time creating a delicious meal, the table you serve it on shouldn’t disappoint. And, with a little creativity, you can usually put together a gorgeous table with items you already have at home!

While filming an upcoming segment for Wine Sisterhood TV we set the table fit for a Thanksgiving feast. Aqua and gold led the color theme, with some fun and whimsical accents added to help set the mood.

Below are two diagrams to help you set the table for a banquet or brunch, and a formal place setting. However formal or laid back your Thanksgiving dinner will be, we hope these diagrams will help you set the table to a tee.

Here is the classic place setting for a banquet or brunch:

And here’s how you would set the table for a formal dinner:

And here’s what our Thanksgiving table will be looking like this year:

Do you recognize those crafty gold-painted pumpkins

Wondering where the wine glasses are? We decided to use these gold-banded old fashioned glasses. Who says you need to serve wine in stemware? (Plus less chance of knockage!).

Thanksgiving Table with Middle Sister Glamour Girl Bubbly

Pair your dinner with bubbly and you can’t go wrong. We recommend Middle Sister Glamour Girl. Yum!

Thanksgiving Table with Owls and Deep Purple Zinfandel

And for the red fans out there – try a red Zinfandel like Deep Purple with your holiday feast!

Enjoy!
